LAFCADIO HEARN (1850-1904) was one of the first great Western interpreters of Japanese culture. His taste for the uncanny is expressed in the numerous stories of spirits he collected in various volumes.

SEAN MICHAEL WILSON has written and adapted widely acclaimed and award-winning manga, including The Book of Five Rings, Secrets of the Ninja, The 47 Ronin, and Cold Mountain.

INKO AI TAKITA studied at Kyoto University of Art and Design and Central Saint Martins. His manga have appeared in various anthologies.
