Marc Kirschenbaum, born in 1969, began folding paper at the “venerable” age of three, when other children were still scribbling. His skills as an origami took a leap forward when he was ten years old: it was then that he discovered the association that is now known as OrigamiUSA, of which he would become an important collaborator in adulthood. Since the 1990s he has been Managing Director of the publications committee and an active member of the Board of Directors. For Nuinui he curated the Origami collection. Great American masters and created the volumes Origami in an Instant, Animals in Origami and Insects in Origami.
