The secrets of the dinosaurs

€24,90

Dinosaurs are a very widespread passion among both children and adults. Thanks to the beautiful illustrations by Zhao Chuang and the texts by Yang Yang, enthusiasts will be able to learn about the surprising world of dinosaurs and discover "new" ones, brought to light in recent years. Some of them, found in China, had never appeared in any other book!

In the volume we find not only specimens with scaly skin, but also species adorned with long bristles and others that exhibit bright colors. In fact, thanks to the discovery of the first feathered dinosaurs, which occurred in 1996 in the Liaoning province, today we know that some theropod dinosaurs (bipedal carnivores) developed feathers and quills with which they then learned to fly, to transform into what we today call birds. So we could say that not all dinosaurs have disappeared: they are still among us!

The texts use a deliberately humanized language, to involve young readers in the events of each species and make them understand that even in a very distant past animals had to face problems not too different from ours.

An exciting adventure to discover dinosaurs and their secrets.
