Nick Robinson has been folding for 35 years and has always been a member of the British Origami Society (BOS), of which he is an honorary member, awarded the "Sidney French" medal; he has directed the magazine and managed the website for over 20 years. He has written over 60 books on origami. He has an experimental approach, preferring solutions that emerge almost "naturally" from paper, instead of imposing pre-established structures. He sees origami as the search for the essence of a subject rather than its detailed representation. For NuiNui he created Intriguing Origami and Giant Origami Kit, and participated in the collective volume British Origami.
